Join well known Africa specialist and safari guide Andrew Rae on this large primate-focused adventure in Western Uganda.

Sir Winston Churchill regularly referred to Uganda as the Pearl of Africa. We will explore the savannahs and waterways of the Victoria Nile and trek the rainforests at Kibale and Bwindi seeking Africa’s great apes: the Chimpanzee and the most colossal of them all, the Mountain Gorilla.

Day 1: ARRIVAL AT ENTEBBE AIRPORT – UGANDA

Day 2: TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

Catch our charter flight to Murchison Falls National Park. After lunch we enjoy an afternoon boat cruise.
Overnight at Nile Safari Lodge

Day 3: FULL DAY IN MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

We spend a full day in Murchison Falls National Park, with morning game drives and an afternoon boat cruise.
Overnight at Nile Safari Lodge

Day 4: TRANSFER TO KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Dinner and Overnight at Primate Lodge

Day 5: FULL DAY IN KIBALE NATIONAL PARK

Morning Chimp trekking
Back to the hotel for lunch
Afternoon Bigodi Nature Walk
Overnight at Primate Lodge

Day 6: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Transfer to Elizabeth National Park
Lunch en-route
Afternoon game drive
Overnight at Ishasha Wilderness Camp

Day 7: FULL DAY IN QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Morning game drive
Back to lodge for lunch
Afternoon boat cruise

Day 8: TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Overnight at Mahogany Springs
